Contrary to media reports, Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak will know their opponents for CAF’s inter-clubs competitions on 22 December.
The local media claimed the draw was scheduled for today 11 December in the Egyptian capital Cairo but that has been clarified.
“The date for the inter-clubs competitions is on 22 December and not 11 December as reported,” a CAF spokesperson told GHANASoccernet.com.
Kotoko, league winners, will play in the Champions League and will be making a third consecutive appearance in the tournament.
Last year, Kotoko were eliminated by Liberian side LISCR FC and before that it was JSM Bejaia of Algeria.
Hearts will represent Ghana in the Confederation Cup.
