Ghana League Clubs Association (Ghalca) vice president Isaac Wilberforce Koomson says he is the right candidate to succeed outgoing president Alhaji Raji, who opted not to seek another term in office.
Koomson will be running against Ashanti Gold CEO Kudjo Fianoo, Oduro Sarfo and Kofi Poku at the April 21vote.
“Every association faces some challenges and I know the challenges of Ghalca more than anyone. Our main challenge has been lack of finance and I know what to do to turn that situation around,” Koomson told sportscrusader.
“I know our situation better, and like our president said if you’re not on the seat, it is difficult to sometimes advise. This is because you don’t know what goes on daily.
“When I was contesting for the vice president’s role in the last elections, I told the delegates the same targets as the others are doing currently but in my four years, I was unable to do that.
“Seeing it from outside is different being on the hot seat so it is always easier to say than to put it in practice,” he added.
