Lawyer for King Faisal Egbert Fabille Jnr says the Ghana Football Association will be charged for contempt if they go ahead with its Congress next Tuesday.
He claims Human Rights Court has not written formally to the Ghana FA granting them a permit to congregate.
It would be recalled that the High Court quashed Faisal’s injunction application on Monday and that paved the way for Congress to be held.
But Faisal have raised the red flag.
“The court has to give them an order before they can hold Congress. If they go ahead to hold it, then that will be a contempt of court and we will take them on,” Fabille Jnr told Accra based radio station Happy FM.
The Ghana Football Association’s Congress will be held at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre and that will usher in the 2014/2015 season.
The Ghana Premier League is set to start on 07 January.
