Ghana international Kevin-Prince Boateng is set to see out the remainder of his contract with German Bundesliga club Schalke 04 after failing to secure a move after his suspension at the club.
The former AC Milan player was suspended indefinitely by Schalke 04 in May. The player search for a possible move away from the Gelsenkirchen club but all attempted transfer move fell through.
The 28-year-old player who is also suspended at the national level with Black Stars is reported to be reluctant to join a club in the Middle East.
Boateng’s agent Edoardo Crnjar told German newspaper Bild that his client with be staying with the Royal Blues.
“He’s going to stay with Schalke,” Bild reports.
First team football could however be a problem for the Ghanaian player if he does stay.
Other reports also suggest Kevin-Prince Boateng and fiancée Melissa Satta have signed a contract with an American production company to have their lives filmed for a reality show in the build-up for their wedding which is scheduled for July 2016.
