Ahead of his arrival at the Canary Islands, AC Milan have already terminated his contract, making him a free agent to be able to sign for any club even after the transfer deadline.
Upon arriving at the Estadio Gran Canaria, Las Palmas have announced that Boateng – who wore theshirt at AC Milan last season – will wear the No.7 jersey next season.
The club’s close relationship with Boateng’s agents, Edoardo and Federico Pastorello, is credited with the success of the deal by the report on the official site, and Boateng is described as the ‘most important foreign player to join the club in decades.’
Boateng, 29, made only one league start during his second spell at the San Siro, having arrived on a short-term deal in January after leaving Bundesliga side Schalke.
