Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Kenichi Yatsuhashihas expressed his dissatisfaction over his side’s striking power in their 1-1 home draw with WAFA on match day 8 of the Ghana Premier League past Wednesday.
The Phobians went into the game with the hope of ending their three games winless streak in all competition but they were given a good run for their money.
WAFA outplayed Hearts of Oak in the first half leading to their first goal in the 33 minute through Charles Boateng. But the Phobians took control of in the second half and pulled even courtesy Cosmos Dauda.
The Accra giants failed to convert the decent chances they had in the game leaving their head coach frustrated after the game.
“In the game we had different chances which we failed to score I’m not happy,” Yatsuhashi said in his post-match interview.
“It is a game we have to put it behind us, go back to training and train for the next one. We had chances we couldn’t score.”
Hearts of Oak currently sit at the second position on the log sheet with 15 points.
