Former AC Milan midfielder and current Schalke player Kevin-Prince Boateng could return to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza in January, according to his agent.
Boateng is currently suspended indefinitely from the club due to an incident which occurred in the aftermath of a defeat against FC Koln, as a result of poor behaviour which was claimed to have led to the German club’s poor domestic performances.
“Boateng is under contract with Schalke and we can not move until the next transfer window,” said Edward Crnjar to Milannews.it.
“For sure we are still looking for a solution, but until January we can not do anything.
“Milan? My client’s love for the Rossoneri colours is common knowledge and clear to everyone, he has always said he is a Milan fan.”
Crnjar did also refrain from saying a return to Italy was certain.
“But a lot has to happen before he rejoins Milan.
“He’s a player of Schalke 04, he is training with the German team and is under contract until June.
“It is not true that he terminated the contract and we are not going to do so.”
