Jeffrey Schlupp plays 100th league game in Leicester win

Leicester City marked Jeffrey Schlupp’s 100th Premier League game with a win over West Ham on Saturday afternoon.

Claudio Ranieri’s side survived a strong finish from the Hammers to clinch a 2-1 win at Upton Park in the Premier League, while the home side finished the match with 10 men.

Leicester who opened the scoring when Jamie Vardy lofted the ball in for Shinji Okazaki, who saw Adrian punch his volley clear before heading in from the rebound for his first goal for the Foxes.

Schlupp’s side doubled their lead before half time when Marc Albrightonpicked our Riyad Mahrez with a through-ball, leaving the winger to curl it into the top corner.

West Ham got a goal back two minutes later though as Sakho played the ball into the box for Payet, leaving the French international to smash the ball past Schmeichel for his first Premier League goal.
