Stabaek IF midfielder Kamal Issah Sissoko claims a host of top European clubs are chasing after his signature following his impressive performance in the Norwegian Tippeligaen.
The 23-year-old player joined Staebek in January 2015 from Danish side Nordsjaelland with whom he made just five league appearances over two seasons.
The Kumasi-born, however, played 26 league matches and scored thrice as Stabaek finished the 2015 Norwegian topflight on third position.
“I have heard through my agent that a couple of clubs from Europe have shown interest in me; from Turkey and from Sweden. I will not give you any names now,” Issah told Football Made in Ghana.
“My agent and my club have to deal with it first. For now, this is all I can say regarding a transfer.
“As a budding player, I do not see myself ending my entire football career at Staebek. I have my sights set on achieving something great in the future. Nonetheless, I am a Staebak player at the moment and I am enjoying playing in Norway.
“The season has been good for me and I’m highly pleased with my first season at the club. On my performance [over the period], I will say the season ended in grand style for me.
A former player of Liberty Professionals, Issah joined Nordsjaelland from French side Rennes after struggling for a first team spot in Ligue 1 before heading for Stabaek.
