Kumasi Asante Kotoko will on Sunday engage Ashantigold in yet another interclub friendly match at the Baba Yara stadium.
Both teams will use Sunday’s match as preparatory grounds for the upcoming season which has delayed due a court case involving King Faisal Football Club and the Ghana Football Association.
Sunday’s match promises to be full of fireworks especially following the red-hot form of Kotoko who have so far played 25 friendly matches within four months.
Ashgold has been on the quiet in terms of preparations as well as playing of friendly matches, but trust coach Bashir Hayford’s side to give Kotoko a good run for their money.
Kotoko will be hoping for a better result against the Miners after suffering back to back defeats against them during the early stages of their preseason formalities.
Ashgold will also aim to maintain their new found dominance over the Porcupine Warriors an action that saw them beat Kotoko both on home and away grounds during the GHALCA Top 4 tournament.
