“Inter Allies Ready For League”-Yaw Acheampong

Head coach of Inter Allies football club, Yaw Acheampong, has mentioned that his team is more than ready for the commencement of the league.

“We are more than ready, at least we and the other premier league Clubs, have had more than enough time to prepare for the league so we have no excuses not to do well when the league commences”, head coach Yaw Acheampong mentioned in an interview with sportscrusader.com.

“As soon as the date for the league commencement came, we had no option than to recall then from their Christmas holidays and as you can see the players are responding well to training.”

The Technical Department and Management of the club opted to cut short the Christmas holidays due to the new date for the start of the 2014/15 Ghana Premier League season.

The team went on break on the 13 December, 2014 and was scheduled to resume training on 2nd January, 2015.

However, Ghana Football Association announced that the 2014/15 season has been scheduled to start on Wednesday, 7 January 2015, and due to this, players and officials reported to training on Friday, 26 December 2014 at Prisons Park (Rangoon) at 8 in the morning.
