Jimmy Corbblah is the new manager of Inter Allies, the club have confirmed, as the former Wa All Stars boss ends weeks of speculation by docking in Tema on Monday.
The 46-year-old signed a two-year contract to succeed Herbert Addo, who mutually parted ways with the club after seven months in charge.
Corbblah would seek to prevent the team from sinking into relegation, after a dismal start to the season, with only two wins recorded in eleven games.
“Inter Allies FC has appointed Jimmy Corbblah as the team’s new head coach,” a club statement read.
“He brings with him a wealth of coaching experience gained, after he previously coached Wa All Stars, Heart of Lions and Danbort FC.
“Corbblah will take full charge when the ‘Eleven Is To One’ face Ashanti Gold in week 12 fixture of the 2015/2016 Ghana Premier League in Tema on May 18,” it added.
Cobbinah expressed his happiness after being handed the opportunity to lead the club.
“I’m very honoured to be given the opportunity to work with Inter Allies FC. It was an exciting meeting. The squad and we have started building towards success,” he told the club’s website.
Allies finished sixth last season but currently sit 15th on the log with 10 points.
