“I’M NOT SURE AVRAM GRANT UNDERSTANDS GHANA FOOTBALL” – MICHO

The head coach of the Uganda national team, the Cranes, Milutin Micho Sredejovic, has hinted that Avram Grant may have challenges in Ghana as the head coach of the Black Stars since he is not sure that Grant understands Ghana football.
According to Micho, Ghana football is a unique brand on the continent and Ghanaians are passionate about that and so any coach who does not understand that brand, will have it tough succeeding in Ghana.
In a chat with sportscrusader.com from his holiday base in Serbia, Micho said, “I read every word said by coaches as a document and reading words of coach Avram Grant, I read between lines and I know him and his coaching line long time. I will however, not tell you what I read but let us see. I am not sure that he is fully aware of the country he has come to coach”.
“Whether he knows Ghana football from where your players are coming or he looks at it from the point of view of a guy who has that strongest connection in football which I respect, I can’t tell. But I strongly believe he does not understand Ghana football”. He added.
Avram Grant was finally outdoored by the Ghana Football Association as the head coach of the Black Stars on Thursday 4th December, 2014.
