Hikary FC and Aburi Highlanders expelled from Ghana Football

Two lower division sides in the Eastern Region, Hikary Football Club and Aburi Highlanders have both been expelled from Ghana Football.
The decision to expel the two clubs was taken at Congress on Tuesday, December 30, 2014.
The two clubs were found to have contravened Article 21 clause 1 sub clause 4 of the GFA statutes which bars clubs from taking the GFA to court without recourse to the GFA’s own internal dispute resolution.
More than 90% of delegates at Congress voted for the two clubs to be expelled from Ghana Football.
Same fate awaits King Faisal Football Club should they lose their ongoing legal tussle with the GFA.
