Herbert Addo says Hearts of Oak back to the drawing board

Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak, Herbert Addo says he’s back to the drawing board and is confident his side will keep alive their hopes of winning the  premier league title this season.

The Phobians after winning their match day one fixture against WAFA have failed to win any of their other three matches, with their best being a 2-2 draw against SC Medeama at the Essipong stadium.

In an interview with Sportscrusader.com, Coach Herbert Addo said,
“What can I say, we lost the match and we are going to prepare for the next game against Liberty. For now it’s back to the drawing board”
“But I believe that we have to respond in a big way on Wednesday if we indeed will want to maintain the momentum in the team.”

He expressed satisfaction at the level of commitment from his players, but rued the missed chances in both the Medeama and Bechem United games.

“In those two games we were wasteful up front and it cost us. In all I can say that we are still grappling with a few issues here and there but we will be fine.”

“All we need to do is to make sure we don’t repeat the mistakes we committed in our last two matches score more goals than we miss and see what happens.”
