Hearts of Oak have announced plans to include a monthly player award in their programme for the new season, in a bid to recompense outstanding talent during the course of each month.
The Phobians’ Board Chairman Togbe Afede disclosed the measure during the club’s annual general meeting in Accra on Wednesday.
According to the official, the award is aimed at motivating players to deliver greater output during the season.
No details of the nature of the award or amount in prize were given.
Hearts have employed 46-year-old Japanese manager Kenichi Yatsuhashi, as the Accra-based side eye a better season than the 2014 / 15 campaign.
They finished 13th, with 40 points, same points with relegated Hearts of Lions and Olympics.
