Hearts to sanctions players over leaked dtape

Gerald Ankrah has indicated that players who were involved in the leaked tape that indicated their lack of commitment to the club will be brought to book.

The leadership of Accra Hearts of Oak laid hands on a tape recording which has the voices of some Accra Hearts of Oak players, expressing their delight over the current difficult situation of the club.

This recording followed their 1-2 home league defeat to Hasaacas at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium, Accra on last week Sunday.

Gerald Ankrah, who is the Managing Director for the Hearts  of Oak has stated that the players involved ridiculed the position of the club on the league log and expressed lack of commitment to the course of the club, hence their code of conduct will be used to bring them to order.

“The players mocked the position of Hearts of Oak and discussed the failure of the club to satisfy certain promises and also indicated that it has affected the performance of some players.

“We will go through the code of conduct and apply the necessary sanctions,” he told Metro fm.

Reports reaching Allsports.com.gh indicate that Gilbert Fiamenyo, Isaac Oduro, Tetteh Luggard, Philip Boampong, Emmanuel Hayford, Issah Mumuni are the players who could be punished for their involvement in this conspiracy against Hearts of Oak.

Hearts of Oak are currently lying 12 on the league table of the 2014-15 First Capital Plus Premier League, after match day 21.
