Communication director of Hearts of Oak, Opare Addo has insisted that the club will consider several options before selling any player ahead fo the new season.
The Phobians are currently in Libya on their preseason tour and reports in the local media indicate that defender Robbin Gnagne has attracted interest from Al Ahli Tripoli after their 3-0 defeat over the Phobians on Tuesday.
“It is not just that when a club meets the asking price of Hearts of Oak then we sell a player [Robbin Gnagne],” Addo said.
“We will be doing further analysis to for instance see whether we can get replacements for the player. It is only when a replacement is found that the club may be inclined to sell a player,” he added.
Hearts have already offloaded Emmanuel Hayford, Kwame Kizito, Issah Mumuni and Shaun October while former captain Kofi Abanga has mutually terminated his contract with the club.
However, Sports5050 understands that the Accra-based side have signed nine new players including Patrick Razak Omotoyossi, Justine Anane, Cosmos Dauda, Mustapha Essuman and John Abiadoo.
