Hackman Aidoo, the administrative manager of Accra Hearts of Oak has stated that the hierarchy of the club is not pleased with the Appeals Committee’s ruling that has upheld Asante Kotoko’s protest against the Disciplinary Committee.
The Disciplinary Committee declared Hearts of Oak winners of their match day 25 league game, which Kotoko won 2-1 over the ineligibility of Obed Owusu.
However, the Appeals Committee on Tuesday reverted the ruling of the Disciplinary Committee, which restored Kotoko the 6 points they were docked for fielding Obed Owusu.
According to Hackman Aidoo, he is surprised that 5 legal brains of the Appeals Committee couldn’t interpret the regulations governing Ghana football and that he suspects them of being influenced.
“I am surprised that a group of 5 legal men can’t read the GFA regulations and understand. It is either they don’t understand or have intentionally decided to rule it in Kotoko’s favour,” he told Hot FM.
“If Anas probes this matter, so many people would find themselves in the net. We will file for a review, but we know that is a mere formality, because it is the same people who would sit with 2 new people added to make it 7.
“The next step after the review is to push the case to higher authority to ensure the right thing is done and we know that Ghana football is the one that will suffer for that action.
“The last time we met, we decided to go extra mile to get back the points. You will be surprised that one of the appeals committee members filed the appeal for Asante Kotoko. I know the person, who filed the appeal, but at the end I will be asked to bring evidence, but one day God will ask him and he won’t be able to ask God that.
