Hearts skipper Gnagne: Our performance this season is below expectation

The captain of the Phobians has admitted that the Phobians haven’t lived up to the billing in the 2014-15 league season, but expect a good show next season.

Robin Gnagne has stated that Hearts of Oak’s will improve their performance next season to apiece their fans for their inconsistent form in the just about to end season.

Hearts of Oak have been struggling throughout the season and on certain occasions got threatened by relegation, before three board room points earned from their match day 25 defeat to Asante Kotoko through a protest lifted them from the drop zone.

Despite, the Phobians lying 5 on the league log at the moment, Gnagne believes there is more room for improvement in the 2015-16 season to make the fans happy.

“Things didn’t go well with Hearts this season, but we are hoping to lift the team up next season”, he told Asempa FM.

Hearts of Oak will visit Sogakope to face WAFA on the last day of the league. A win for the Accra based side will make them feel relieved because Asante Kotoko’s appeal against the Disciplinary Committee’s ruling to declare them losers is still pending.
