Hearts of Oak are concluding plans to part ways with four new players in the wake of the team’s poor showing in the maiden edition of the GHALCA G6 tournament held last week in Sekondi.
The Phobians coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi had been tasked with winning the competition to save his job but they crashed out in the group stage.
According to Hearts management, new signings Ibrahim Issaka, Franklyn Osei, Ibrahim Musa and Jacob Quartey are on the verge of being axed after they failed to impress the technical staff.
However, despite the poor result claimed at the GHALCA G6, Yatsuhashi has received the backing of his employers to continue as coach of the Accra-based outfit.
This is not the first time the team will be sacking players after a major debacle.
Upon their return from a two-match international friendly in Libya last month, which they lost, Hearts fired four players namely Prince Boadu, Atiso Doe, Patrick Razak and John Abadioo.
