Hearts of Oak have denied media reports that the team is currently in talks with Mas-Ud Dramani to replace under-fire Japanese manager Kenichi Yatsuhashi.
“It is not true, we are even surprised to hear that on the radio and reading stories about in on the internet, I must say we are surprised,” an official of Hearts was quoted as saying byGazzettaghana.
“Kenichi is still the coach of the club, he was appointed as coach of the club because of the league and the league itself has not started.
“So how can one conclude that he will be sacked because we didn’t win the G6 tournament?
“It is not true, no talks with Didi and Kenichi is till the coach of the club.”
Yatsuhashi confirmed days ago that he had been tasked with winning the G6 tournament or face the sack.
However, Hearts of Oak board member Frank Nelson quickly responded, saying that the 46-year-old would not be fired and remains the Phobians manager ahead of the new season.
