Accra Hearts of Oak will be offloading four players, who have been deemed surplus to requirement, the Board of Directors has confirmed.
The four players approved for transfer are Emmanuel Hayford, Kwame Kizito, Issah Mumuni and Shaun October.
The Phobians are yet to sign any major player since the transfer market opened as opposed to archrivals Asante Kotoko, who have acquired about ten new players ahead of the 2015 / 16 season.
Hearts’ newly-appointed coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi was reported to have enlisted a number of players he wanted to part away with, which was widely condemned by local supporters.
However, a board meeting held last week has helped to clarify the situation.
The Phobians narrowly escaped relegation last season finishing at 13 with 40 points, above relegated Heart of Lions.
