Hearts in talks to acquire $10m WAFA stadium

Hearts of Oak are currently in talks for the acquisition of West African Football Academy (WAFA) stadium in Gomoa, worth $10 million, according to reports.

WAFA abandoned the training facility when the team, formerly known Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord, moved to Sogakope in 2014.

“It will interest you to know that we have had discussions and we went over to inspect the facility. They mentioned a price of $10m which we are still considering,” Opare Addo toldStarr Sports.

Hearts are yet to secure a standard training pitch and are currently carrying out preseason activities at the Police deport pitch in Tesano.
