Ghana Premier League team Hearts of Oak deputy skipper Owusu Bempah is eyeing league title glory adding it will not be simple for his team.
The domestic top-flight championship is only a two weeks old but the Phobians are having a good run as they are yet to lose a game, amassing seven points in three games.
With Hearts of Oak’s current form, bookmakers of the local league have tipped the Phobians for the league title, a trophy the club’s deputy captain is targeting but admit it won’t come easy.
“Every player wants to win the league and enter the history books,” Bempah told Joy FM.
“It is no simple task, it is very huge. We are taking it match by match and step by step.”
“The competition in the team is intense. Everyone is on top of their game,” he added.
The Phobians will battle Bechem United on match-day four of the 2016 Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium.
