Sekondi Hasaacas players have boycotted this week’s training session following unpaid salaries and bonuses according to reports.
The club is yet to settle outstanding financial engagements with the players since end of last session due to difficulties, according to insiders.
“Only 12 players showed up for training on Tuesday and this is due to unpaid salaries and bonuses due to the players,” head coach Yusif Basigi told Happy FM.
“I will personally go to where they are based and talk to them to resume training. I know it’s difficult,” he said.
Hasaacas will open their new season against Wa All Stars by the weekend.
