Hasaacas couldn’t stand the heat of Aduana, defeated 2-0

Aduana Stars’ chase for another league title is back on very strongly following Wednesday’s 2-0 victory over Sekondi Hasaacas on match day 26 of the 2015 Ghana Premier League season.

The three points garnered ensures that the 2009 champions moved unto 44, just a point behind long-time leaders, Ashantigold who could only draw goalless at Bechem United and now have 45.

With four games left in the Ghanaian top flight campaign, Aduana’s chase for a second Ghana title reaches a crescendo amid putting a lot of pressure on the league leading Miners as the season enters the stretch.

When the First Capital Plus Bank competition returns at the league centres on Sunday with match day 27, Aduana will seek to overtake Ashantigold at home to relegation threatened Great Olympics should Ashgold stutter in their own home fixture against Medeama SC.

The stage certainly has been set for arguably the most enthralling photo-finish in Ghanaian league history.
