Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan will offer a $30,000 cash prize to the Black Queens for winning the 2015 All Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville, the Shanghai SIPG star said at his 30th birthday party held in Accra on Saturday.
Gyan earlier made a donation of $10,000 to the team during the tournament after news broke out the Ghanaian women were in dire financial straits in Brazzaville.
He had promised to honour the Queens if they eventually won the tournament.
The Ghanaian delegation refused to vacate their hotel after the competition to protest the delay in payment of bonuses despite calls from the sport ministry to come home.
Ghana president John Dramani Mahama had to make telephone calls to the players in order to resolve the crisis.
Gyan is among the highest paid footballers in the world, earning more than $300,000 a week at the Chinese Super League outfit.
