Grant to present AFCON squad to GFA today?

Black Stars coach Avram Grant is set to present his squad for the upcoming African Cup of Nations tournament to the Ghana Football Association on Thursday, December 18, 2014 according to Goal Ghana.

The new senior national team coach is expected to name a 26-man squad for the 2015 African Cup of Nations tournament to take place in Equatorial Guinea to Ghana’s football governing body which will be made available to the general public very soon.

Grant had positive talks with Sulley Muntari during his European tour that could clear the path to a Black Stars return for the AC Milan midfielder according to Allsports.com.gh.

The former Chelsea coach revealed he was ready to work with all players if they were ready to show commitment to the Black Stars and went on an European scouting mission to aid his cause. The squad for the upcoming African tournament could also outline the vision the Israeli has for the senior national team.

The 2015 African Cup of Nations will be played from the 17 of January to the 8 of February 2015.
