Wa All Stars defeated Sekondi Hasaacas by three unanswered goals at the Wa Park on Sunday on match day 1 of the Ghana Premier League.
A brace from Maxwell Baako and a goal from Richard Arthur nailed Sekondi Hasaacas in the coffin.
Maxwell Baako began the scoring in the 17 minute, before Richard Arthur doubled their lead in the 33 minute and Baako again hit the third to score his 2 goal of the evening.
Hasaacas augmented their team with the inclusion of Eric Bekoe former top scorer of the Ghana Premier League, Phillip Boampong, etc, but couldn’t put their house together when they failed to sort out the unpaid salaries of their ‘old players’, so they boycotted training in the course of last week in agitation for their 8 months unpaid salaries and 5 months unpaid winning bonus.
The huge loss could be attributed to their lack of concentration prior to the game. No wonder they were the worst side on match day 1.
