Wa All Stars maintained their unbeaten run as they snatched a point away from home when they played 1-1 against Dreams at the Dawu Park.
Both teams went into the game with seven points apiece, and a win for either side could have taken them on top of the league table.
Dream FC who were playing home failed to grab a home advantage, with Wa All Stars proving to be a really stiff opposition for them.
Wa All Stars have not conceded any goal in premier league so far this season, but that came to an end when in the 38th minute Dreams FC’s Emmanuel Lomotey fired a thunderbolt to put Dreams upfront at the Theater of Dreams.
That did not last long before Wa All Star equalised from a dead ball situation. Wahidu Mumuni perfectly converted an 18-yard freekick that hit the far net of Dreams goalkeeper Mozart Adjetey’s goal post.
After the goals, both teams pushed for a winner but the defence of either side were strong and well composed.
Dreams had to do without influential Emmanuel Hayford, who had been suspended, but in his place was Aaron Amoah, while All Stars had Maxwell Baako and the powerful Richard Arthur in their attack.
Dreams perpetuated their dominance in midfield and took the game to the visitors whose attacking potency was absent with Maxwell Baako curtained as supplies were gagged.
Dreams FC supporters tried to intimidate Wa All Stars with their drumming, singing and dancing at high pitch but the All Stars never fell for this.
Wa All Stars went ahead to create series of goal scoring chances but a combination of good defending and impotency upfront meant spoils will be shared and confirm why neither side has lost a game with four matches played in the 2015/16 season.
Some notable faces were present including hip-life legend Reggie Rockstone who attended the game with a group of smashy ladies which inspired home and travelling fans.
Black Stars head coach Avram Grant was also present and at the end of the match gave a brief insight about the game.
