Hearts of Oak are back to winning ways after five matches in all competitions, securing full points against Ashanti Gold on Sunday. Cosmos Dauda’s on 52nd and 60th minutes gave the Phobians a first win at Len Clay in nine years, while Awudu Nafiu scored the home side’s consolation.

Techiman City succumbed to Ebusua Dwarfs on matchday eight, but bounce backed with a 2-0 victory over Bechem United at the Nana Ameyaw Park. Issaka Ibrahim opened the scoring before Isaac Baah added the second from the spot.
At the Sogakope Park, Charles Boateng and Tanko Ibrahim were on the score sheet in Wafa’s 2-0 win at the expense of Ebusua Dwarfs, maintaining their unbeaten home run.
Berekum Chelsea picked up a fifth win of the season in their home clash with Dreams FC at the Golden City Park. Seth Appiah scored first before Saddick Adams notched his fifth and sixth strikes of the campaign to confirm a 3-0 triumph.
Liberty Professionals, meanwhile, had Bernard Arthur to thank for the only goal in the 1-0 reversal of Hasaacas at the Sekondi-Essipong Sports Stadium.
And finally at the Dormaa Park, Yahaya Mohammed followed up on midweek’s hat-trick against Hasaacas with a double as Aduana Star handed Medeama a 3-0 defeat. The attacker now has six goals to his name this season, while Elvis Opoku recorded the other strike on the day.
