Former Hearts Of Oak and Asante Kotoko forward, Charles Taylor says the Ghana Premier League lacks quality players whose performances could draw supporters to league centres.
The former Enugu Rangers forward said in an interview with Angel FM in Kumasi, that he believes the teams in the Ghana League do not have naturally gifted players who would play to convince fans to troop to matches.
‘’I remember a certain player in Hearts Of Oak, whose name was all over the place. I went to the stadium to watch him, but he was not good at all. He was below par. The teams do not have good players like they used to have in our time.’’
Taylor is currently training with an unnamed team in a bid to put him in shape, after been sidelined with numerous injuries.
