New Ghana coach Avram Grant will be unveiled on Wednesday by the Ghana Football Association in Accra.

Last week, Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi revealed that the former Portsmouth coach’s contract would start on 1 December.

Grant replaces Kwasi Appiah who was dismissed in September, a day after leading the Black Stars to a 3-2 win over Togo.

He comes in with rich experience after steering Chelsea to the UEFA Champions League final in 2008, had declared his intention to make Ghana a powerhouse in world football.

The Israeli trainer promised to work on the psyche of the players in order to have a strong mentality needed to rub shoulders with tough opponents at the big stage.
