Ghana continued their preparations for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations with a 2-0 win over Uzbekistan club Bunyokdor on Tuesday.
The Black Stars are currently camping in the United Arab Emirates ahead of their participation in the continental championships, which get underway in Gabon this weekend.
According to the Ghana FA website, the Black Stars dominated the match against the Asian Champions League side, but found them difficult to break down.
Coach Avram Grant made several changes in the second half which allowed Ghana to take the lead through Asamoah Gyan, while Frank Acheampong netted the second goal.
The Black Stars are likely to play a second friendly before departing for Gabon on Friday.
The four-time AFCON champions open their Group D campaign against Uganda in Port-Gentil on January 17, followed by matches against Mali and Egypt on January 21 and 25 respectively.
