Ghana coach Avram Grant to implement new playing style for Black Stars

Avram Grant is set to implement a new playing style for Ghana during the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The 59-year-old experimented with a 3-5-2 formation during the 3-0 friendly win over Portuguese outfit Olhanense.

South Africa based Edwin Gyimha and John Boye paired in central defence while winger Frank Acheampong and Baba Rahman used as defensive wingers during the victory.

The Ghanaians are known for their 4-4-2 style of play but that is likely to change with the Israeli in charge.

The new formation could give pacy Solomon Asante to operate from the flanks with Asamoah Gyan spearheading the attack.
