Ghana coach Avram Grant arrives in Europe to monitor players for AFCON

New Ghana coach Avram Grant has arrived in Europe to scout Black Stars players ahead of the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Israeli has less than five weeks to announce his squad for the tournament which will be played in Equatorial Guinea from 17 January to 08 February.

Grant has promised to give equal opportunities to players eligible to represent the country at next year’s tournament.

He will meet fringe players Richmond Boakye-Yiadom (Atalanta), David Addy (Beveren), Thomas Partey (Almeria), Bernard Mensah (Rio Ave) and Albert Adomah (Middlesbrough) are to be

Grant, 59, is not under pressure to win the tournament although Ghana have not won an African title since 1982.
