President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi has welcomed Dentaa Amoateng after it emerged the United Kingdom based Football enthusiast has declared her intentions to contest incumbent Kwesi Nyantakyi for the FA Presidency in the near future.
Sources close to Dentaa have revealed that she could test her mettle in the upcoming Ghana Football Association General Elections.
Although the Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association has not declared the exact date the elections will be organized, personalities have emerged to contest incumbent Nyantakyi.
Female Coach Ofeibia Ramatu and Dentaa Guba are front runners who have emerged to contest Nyantakyi, but the incumbent GFA president is unperturbed and has welcomed the duo.
“Competition is good, it brings the best out of you, I don’t want to go unopposed, I want to be contested, because if nobody comes it will not be a healthy exercise, I know Dentaa and Ramatu but if they want to contest I will welcome them, everybody can contest the FA elections”, Nyantakyi told Accra based Happy FM.
Nyantakyi meanwhile hinted that football Administrator and CEO of premier League side Heart of Lions Randy Abbey has the right to contest, if he is interested in the presidency slot.
