Communication Director of the Ghana Football Association, Ibrahim Sannie Daara has hit out at Fred Pappoe, an executive committee member of the GFA over his comments claiming some people at the FA predetermined the results of games in the Ghana premier league.
Fred Pappoe who happens to be a Director of Great Olympics minced no words when he granted an interview with Accra based Asempa FM after his side got relegated after match day 30 last Sunday.
“Are we saying we didn’t know about four or five of the results before the games were played on Sunday?
“If I did not use my influence to help my club (Olympics) to avoid relegation, then I am happy I did the right thing.”
But the Communication Director of the Ghana Football Association has lashed out at Fred Pappoe stating that the executive committee member should have known better.
“I do not know how an executive committee member of the Ghana Football Association will make a comment like that.” he said in an interview.
“Even if he is privy to information like that, he should serve it at the appropriate quarters because he is part of a committee that makes decisions in Ghana football.”
Great Olympics got relegated alongside BA Utd and Heart of Lions.
