Management committee chairman of the Black Stars of Ghana, George Afriyie has predicted that, 20 year old Bernard Mensah will be a star for Ghana in the future.
The Vitoria Guimaraes attacking midfielder had his maiden call up into the Black Stars this month and in Ghana’s friendly game against Togo the tall lanky player scored a 30 yard screamer in his debut.
Bernard Mensah on Sunday, 14th June, 2015 officially marked his international debut for Ghana when he came on as a second half substitute for Agyemang Badu in a game the Black Stars won 7-1 over Mauritius in an Afcon qualifier.
Per Bernard Mensah’s quality of play, the Black Stars management committee chairman has opined that the Manchester United target will be a superstar for Ghana in the future.
“That boy [Bernard Mensah] is a promising player and when given the needed support he will be a future star for Ghana because he has gotten everything a player needs,” George Afriyie told hot fm.
