Former kaizer Chiefs target Christopher Munthali has told Goal that Lamontville Golden Arrows are chasing after his signture and the move could soon take place.
Media reports Zambia suggested that the Power Dynamos defender was on the radar of Maritzburg United in June, but a move to Abafana Bes’thende appears likely.
“Golden Arrows of South Africa are interested in me. I am still waiting for the Golden Arrows offer and my agent is still dealing with them there,” Munthali told Goal .
Munthali has over 15 caps and scored three goals for Power and two for Chipolopolo this year.
He is also being tracked down by Zambian champions Zesco United and 2015 runners-up Zanaco FC, who will play in the 2016 Caf Champions League and Confederation Cup respectively.
Munthali has been at Power Dynamos for the last six-years, but found success away from the club during his loan spell at arch-rivals Nkana between 2013 and 2014.
Power Dynamos coach Tennant Chilumba brought him back at the beginning of this season and occasionally captained the six-time champions in Joshua Titima’s absence.
