FCPPL Match day 4 Results and Stats

Aduana Stars moved to the top of the First Capital Plus premier League standings after a 1-0 win over Great Olympics in Accra on Saturday afternoon. Richard Arhin scored the only goal of the game to secure his third goal of the season and three points for the 2010 Premier League champions.

Ashanti Gold drops to second after a 0-2 loss to Medeama SC in Tarkwa. Former Asante Kotoko forward Nathaniel Asamoah netted a brace that secured the Yellow and Mauves’ first win of the season.

Heart of Lions inflicted a first loss of the season on Hasaacas with a 2-0 victory in Kpando. Razik Mohammed scored in the first half, with Abdulai Abdul Karim scoring later on to seal all three points.

Hearts of Oak fell to another defeat after a 0-1 loss to Bechem United in Bechem. Hamza Mohammed scored five minutes before half time to secure the victory for Bechem United.

Emmanuel Antwi was on target as Liberty Professionals defeated Wa All Stars 1-0 in Dansoman, whilst goals from Kofi Owusu and Stephen Baffour gave Berekum Chelsea a 2-0 win over West Africa Football Academy (WAFA).

Nuhu Fuseini and James Boadu gave New Edubiase United a 2-0 lead over B.A. United in Obuasi, before Enoch Gyimah pulled one back with a penalty. The game ended 2-1, with New Edubiase United claiming its first win of the season.

On Friday, a strike by substitute Dauda Mohammed gave defending champions Asante Kotoko a 1-0 win over Inter Allies in Kumasi.
