Ghana Premier League title holders AshantiGold boycotted the medal ceremony of the Super Cup won by FA Cup winners Medeama at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
The Miners walked off the pitch immediately after the final whistle in protest of a goal that was disallowed during the clash.
AshGold’s Frederick Quayson found the back of the net after claiming a ball punched into play by the Yellow and Mauves’ goalkeeper but the effort was flagged offside.
Bernard Ofori scored the winner for Medeama in the 87th minute to seal their victory.
The Miners could face a disciplinary action from the Ghana FA for failing to attend the medal presentation ceremony.
