Ex-Black Stars and King Faisal midfielder, Malam Yaya has showered praises on newly appointed Black Stars coach, Avram Grant for taking the initiative to visit Sulley Ali Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng on a possible comeback mission to the Black Stars after their dismissal during the World Cup in Brazil.
Malam Yaya believes that every coach has his philosophy and knows the kind of materials he will need to help him execute a particular task. As a result, if Avram Grant thinks that bringing those two players will help him achieve his goal, that must not be objected at all.
Media reports recently have disclosed that Avram Grant has travelled to Europe to meet the two players and the bashing has been massive for the new coach but Malam Yaya thinks otherwise.
Speaking to sportscrusader.com, Malam Yaya said, “Every coach needs positive results and try all his possibilities to get the result. So if the coach thinks that they will help him, why must he not bring them on board? We have a lot of players but Muntari’s experience and commitment is different. So let us stop attacking Avram Grant now and only watch him to see what he has for us”.
“I think Sulley is not a bad boy as we are all made to believe. Maybe he is misunderstood. As for Kevin, he had a problem with Kwesi Appiah and God being so good, Kwasi Appiah is no more the head coach of the Black Stars. So what are we waiting for again? Let us stop this blame game and think about how these players can help us make it in the upcoming Afcon. We must address all outstanding issues and assemble the best squad for the Afcon”. He added.
