Ex-Hearts management member hits out at Soulama Abdoulaye

Isaac Tetteh, popularly known in football cycles as T.T Brothers has admonished Soulama Abdoulaye for receiving an unnecessary yellow card against Bechem United.

The Phobians continued their campaign to survive in the Ghana Premier League, when they piped Bechem United by a goal to nil to lift themselves from 15 position to 11 place on the league log.

However, Soulama in his attempt to waste time in order not to let his side come under pressure during the late stage of the game was booked by the centre referee.

And Isaac Tetteh who was at the Stadium to cheer his idol club skip the drop zone has expressed his sentiment over how the experienced goalkeeper got into the referee’s book.

“The yellow card received by Soulama didn’t make sense to all of us. If it were any club, he would be made to pay for the fines associated with it.

“It was an unnecessary card which doesn’t make sense. He is a good goalkeeper but he should realize that immediately a referee blows his whistle, he shouldn’t delay to kick the ball. It seems he has forgotten of the red card he received against Heart of lions,” he told Metro fm.

Hearts of Oak went through goalkeeping crisis, after their number 1 guardsman was sent off in their 4-0 thrashing of Kpando Lions at Cape Coast and is believed to be the reason why they lost to both New Edubiase United and Asante Kotoko.

Hearts of Oak will face their boggy side, Medeama SC on Sunday at the T and A Park on match day 28.
