Sekondi Hasaacas leading marksman Eric Bekoe has hailed his side’s second half spirited performance against Bechem United in their 1-1 draw at Bechem Park on Wednesday on match day 14 of the Ghana Premier League.
The Hasmal lads before the break were down by a goal to nil courtesy Abenego Tetteh’s spot kick.
But Bekoe’s side after the break put up a spirited performance and Eric Adu Poku’s 68 minute wonder strike earned them their first away point in the on-going campaign.
“It was a great comeback. The players did very well and were determined not to lose,” Bekoe said after the game
“We have not been performing well in our away matches so we were determined to make a difference this time.
“We have been able to secure a point and we hope to build on that to improve our away performance,” he added.
The former Asante Kotoko goal poacher in the ongoing campaign has netted seven goals.
