New Edubiase United midfielder Latif Anabila arrived in Sweden on Wednesday to complete his reported move to AIK Stockholm.
The 18-year-old, who won Ghana Premier League most promising player last week, caught the eyes of the club’s scouting team with his dazzling performances.
Anabila pipped WAFA midfielder Gideon Waja and Latif Blessing of Liberty Professionals to win the award.
He travelled with Edubiase’s vice-president, Alex Ackumey who doubles as his council and club’s representative, and will meet Stockholm’s executives on Thursday for talks.
Sports5050 understands that Anabila will sign a three-year deal subjected to extension after his first season.
Anabila finished last season with two goals in 23 games to help Edubiase to escape relegation on final day
