Administrative manager of Dreams FC, Ameenu Shardow, claims Asante Kotoko do not have enough quality to beat his side ahead of their encounter in the Ghana Premier League.
The two teams are set for a showdown at the Dawu Park in week eight of the topflight.
While newly-promoted Dreams are impressively tied on points with second-placed Hearts of Oak on the standings, 23-time league champions Kotoko have endured a frustrating start this campaign, winning just two games thus far and sitting ninth.
“There is no question, Dreams FC absolutely have [more] quality players than Kumasi Asante Kotoko – from goalkeeping to attack,” Shardow was quoted as saying by GazzettaGhana.
“We have shown in all our games that we play good football and those who watched us over the weekend at Len Clay [in the 1-0 defeat of Ashanti Gold] will attest to it.
“We have not set any target this campaign. We want to be very competitive and get any available point in games we play.
“If at the end of the season we are top or not, so be it.”
Dreams have won four, drawn two and lost one of seven games in their maiden season of topflight action so far.
