Super-agent Mino Raiola says AC Milan sensation Gianluigi Donnarumma is already worth €170 million.
Donnarumma is just 16 years of age yet is already earning comparisons with Italy and Juventus goalkeeping icon Gianluigi Buffon after displacing Diego Lopez as the Rossoneri‘s first-choice shot-stopper this season.
Raiola, who has previously compared another of his clients, Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba, to a Salvador Dali painting, is in no doubt that he is working with another footballing masterpiece.
“I’d compare him to a [piece by Italian artist Amadeo] Modigliani,” the teenager’s representative told Mediaset Premium. “He’s worth 170 million.
“He has a great future. He’s an extraordinary kid and everyone loves him.
“He’s already a little champion but he can become a great one.”
Meanwhile, Raiola once again addressed the issue of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s potential return to Milan, with the Paris Saint-Germain striker having considered rejoining the Rossoneri during the summer.
Raiola explained, though, that the Sweden captain was unwilling to leave the Parc des Princes when he still had a year left on his contract.
“His return to Milan last summer was very difficult because there was an agreement with PSG and Zlatan wanted to respect it,” the agent added.
“Now, he’s out of contract, we will see what happens.
“A return to Italy is difficult because of the stage that Italian football is currently going through.
“There are few teams that would be able to allow themselves a player like him.
“Would I give the Milan fans reason to hope? Well, hope is always the last thing to die…”
