Didi Dramani: Black Satellite can still qualify ahead of Senegal

Head coach of Ghana U-20 side Didi Dramani is optimistic of his side’s qualification over Senegal.

The Black Satellite will host their counterparts on Friday (July 22) at the Cape Cape Coast Sports Stadium in the second leg of the 2017 African Youth Championship final qualifier after losing the first leg 3-1 two weeks ago in Dakar.

“Our objectives in our preparation that is to keep a clean sheet and to score more than one goal. We have realized our weaknesses but as for our strengths they are within us. We also saw the weaknesses of their opponents and their strengths and we have been working on that in our planning and training,” coach Dramani said in interview ahead of the game.

“We had the opportunity to host the Bukinabe U20 who play quite closely to the Senegalese and from my opinion Burkina Faso gave us the opposition to expect on Friday.

“We also had the opportunity of adding other players to the squad who given the opportunity can show that I’ve out their best. We need players who are fully fit and can replace our injured players.

“The players know the importance of qualifying to the African Youth Championship Andre opportunities that it can bring to their individual development and the development of the team.

“From our preparations we are ready for the match against Senegal it’s not beyond us to reach our objectives. The boys are really motivated for the game.”
